| How is the connection between solenoid valve and cylinder? |
1)NAMUR Standard facing installation (plate connection); 2)Tubuing Connection (Tubuing); 3)Other connection modes. |
Tubular connection (pipe connection) is a universal connection mode, but the connection cost is relatively high; NAMUR faced connection (plate connection) is only limited to small cylinder. It is the connection between cylinder complying with NAMUR standard and solenoid valve, which belongs to restricted connection but saves money Cost. It should be noted that: under low temperature environment, it is suggested to adopt tubular connection instead of plate connection. The main reason is that the sealing ring is easy to lose efficacy under low temperature, resulting in air leakage at the facing, which may affect the normal operation of the gas circuit in serious cases. |

| Type of solenoid valve-1? |
1) 3/2 Way; 2)5/2 Way; 3) 5/3 Way; 4) Special form. |
Two-position three-way solenoid valve must be used for single-acting cylinder; However, for double-acting cylinder, it is not necessary to use two-position five-way solenoid valve, but can also use two-position three-way solenoid valve to operate the two-position five-way control valve. Therefore, the specific situation shall be analyzed.
| Type of solenoid valve-2? |
1) NC (Normal Close); 2) NO(Normal Open); 3) U (Universal); 4) Special form. |
This shall be provided by the manufacturer according to the actual requirements, but attention shall be paid to the correctness of the selection results.
| Electromagnetic drive action? |
1) Direct acting (direct acting); 2) Pilot operated type. |
Generally, the manufacturer shall select this option according to the actual situation. Sometimes, the owner will also put forward requirements for direct-acting or pilot-driven type, so this option shall be noted.
| Working voltage of solenoid valve? |
1) 24V DC; 2) 110V AC @ 50HZ; 3) 220V AC @ 60HZ; 4)Other special voltages, etc. |
Select the correct operating voltage according to the customer's requirements. Generally, there are more options for 24VDC DC and 220VAC AC.
| Coil housing material? |
1)Cast aluminum material; 2)Stainless steel material; 3)Other materials. |
Any manufacturer's standard solenoid valve is composed of two parts, i.e. coil part (including wiring part, which is called Coil in English) and vent body part (which is called Body in English). Therefore, we usually describe these two parts separately, so as to be more accurate.
| Material of vent body? |
1) Cast aluminum material; 2) Brass material; 3) Stainless steel material; 4) Other materials. |
The coil material and the vent body material can be finally confirmed for the material of the whole solenoid valve only after they are respectively defined. Therefore, please pay attention to this.
| The size of the vent connection? |
1) 1/4" NPT ; 2) 1/2" NPT |
There are two options, typically 1/4 "NPT and rarely 1/2" NPT.
| Material of electrical interface? |
1) 1/2" NPT; 2) 3/4" NPT; 3) M20*1.5; |
|||
| Explosion-proof grade? |
1) Only waterproof and dustproof, without any explosion protection IP65/66; 2) Intrinsically safe explosion-proof Exia IICT4/6 + IP65/66; 3) Explosion-proof explosion-proof type Exd IICT4/6 + IP65/66; |
|||
| Power consumption requirements? |
1) Standard power consumption: about 10W; 2) Power consumption reduction: ≤ 4.0W; 3) Low power consumption: ≤ 2.0W; |
|||
| With manual operation? |
1) Manual Operator ; 2) Manual Reset ; 3) Other Operations. |
This is generally defined according to the requirements of the design institute, but as for the working condition of the device with interlocking (SIL) requirements, whether the manual operation option can meet SIL shall be consulted with the manufacturer.
| Requirements for ambient temperature? |
1) No low temperature required, normal ambient temperature; 2) Low temperature is required, not less than - 20 ℃; 3) Low temperature is required, not less than - 40 ℃; 4) Low temperature is required, not less than - 60 ℃; 5) High temperature is required. Please list the high temperature of the environment; 6) Other special ambient temperatures please advise. |
Attention must be paid to the problem of temperature. For different manufacturers, the types and series of solenoid valves selected for different temperatures are completely different, and the prices are also very different. Therefore, for theoretical model selection, firstly determine the requirements of solenoid valves for ambient temperature?
